The workshop begins in our underground exhibition hall. Children will witness the moment of the discovery of the Kuznetsk coal. Our mining gnome Gomozulya will guide them through all stages of mining development. Our little visitors will touch a real miner's lamp, try on a hard-cap, and see rare documentary videos!  Everyone will receive a gift from the gnome – a piece of coal. On the surface, kids will have a glimpse of the Butrnin Hill, see monuments and sculptures, and try some real mining equipment.

The workshop is a part of our large educational project “Museum +”. Kids will get a cool old-style XIX century certificate with grades for each workshop they have followed. At the end of the school year, the best participants will receive valuable prizes and the title of "A Native Kemerovite".
